reflection questions:
What does it mean for you to live intentionally in the way of Jesus? When you reflect on your life, where do you see the most significant gaps between your faith and your actions? What is God asking you to do about them?
in what areas of your life have you built your foundation on something other than Christ? How is that affecting you?
When you examine your heart, do you find that your motivations align with Jesus’ teachings, or are they influenced by worldly desires?
How has your understanding of love, compassion, and justice evolved as you’ve deepened your relationship with Christ?
Are there areas in your life where you resist God’s guidance because it challenges your comfort or control?
How do you discern the difference between God’s will and your own desires? What practices help you align the two? How do you respond to the moments when God’s call for justice and mercy conflicts with your personal interests or societal norms?
What fears or insecurities hold you back from fully embracing the radical teachings of Jesus?
This week, look for 1-1-1 opportunities: I thought-1 word-1 act. Spend time reflecting (1 thought) on Jesus’ words in Matthew 7:24-27 Share your reflections in conversation (1 word) with at least one person. Do one thing (1 act) that demonstrates response of intentional life in the things God is teaching you.
